Call For Artists - Local Exhibit

We have been sent notice of an upcoming local exhibit and a Call for Artists. The information is posted below as we received it though we did highlight the important points for emphasis. Please note the deadline for entry forms to be postmarked is May 20, 2010 so you need to respond quickly! We have also posted additional links about the project at the bottom of this post.

"Addiction and Art" Blue Elephant Gallery - Frederick, MD
Jurors: To Be Announced - Members from both the local art and substance abuse treatment worlds
Entries due - May 20, 2010 (Postmarked)
Show opens - June 19, 2010, 7-11 PM, Book signing 7:30 - 9:00 PM
Show dates - June 19 - June 27
Entry Forms Available: Blue Elephant, Dragonfly, Delaplaine Visual Arts Education Center
This show coincides with the release of the book, Addiction and Art, published by Johns Hopkins Press. Several of the book's artists will accompany this juried exhibition.”
