Our Phoenix Imagery Press website is finally reaching completion though it will quite likely continue to be tweaked and adjusted for months to come! The link to our America’s Road site is expected to be up and running by the evening of 3/13/09 and will contain a brief overview of the book, where to purchase a copy, and links to related National Road sites and information. We now expect the link from the Phoenix Imagery site to our Among These Hallowed Grounds website to become active in the next 4 to 5 days. Of course we expected to have all of this finished long before now...
We have recently added some images from America’s Road to our photo galleries and are in the process of adding more images and galleries and making select images available for online purchase.
We are fortunate to have had a number of our images on display at the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce offices since January (the exhibit ends March 26, 2009) and were invited to participate in the inaugural “Meet the Artists” & networking event held by the Chamber on March 5, 2009. We were very pleased by the interest in our work and having an opportunity to meet a large group of people representing a variety of businesses in the central Maryland area. We would especially like to thank Ms. Bonnie Schultz, Chamber of Commerce Vice President, for having initially invited us to display our work and also for inviting us to participate in this unique event.
1st Saturday - People Watching
The Downtown Frederick (MD) Partnership hosts a First Saturday event in cooperation with local businesses and galleries each month. Events include art show openings and receptions, a gallery walk, and numerous activities and street performances. Owing to the beautiful weather and temperatures reaching an unseasonably warm 70°+ we decided to take a break and meet up with friends this past Saturday. This month’s activities were no exception! There were numerous outstanding art exhibits, carriage and wagon tours of the city, historical presentations, live music and good food, and large crowds enjoying the chance to escape cold weather induced cabin fever.
